Leptospirosis
- a bacterial infection that is transmitted through contact with infected urine in water sources such as lakes, ponds, streams, or puddles
- Ex: dog drinking from water puddle outside
- It is zoonotic
- Vaccination is recommended for all dogs in our area for disease prevention
