Did you know that cats and dogs are anesthetized to perform a dental cleaning/teeth evaluation? Unlike humans that can be told to sit still and hold their mouth open, cats and dogs don’t understand and need to be placed under anesthesia to clean and evaluate the teeth.

What is included in a dental cleaning?
-Full mouth cleaning of the teeth
-Evaluate all teeth individually to determine the health of each tooth
-X-rays to evaluate the root of the tooth under the gum line
-Dental extractions (if needed)
